Fire Districts throughout the County hosting Free Hands-Only CPR! Learn a life-saving skill in about an hour!
The free family friendly events will be held at multiple times and locations on Saturday, September 14, 2019. In a partnership between the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services and the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association, multiple Fire Districts are hosting the 2nd Annual Hands-Only CPR Training for National Preparedness Month. While this is not a certified course, participants get hands-on experience with the basics of this lifesaving skill. This is a great opportunity for families to get involved with preparing for disaster. Other tips include creating an Emergency Kit or developing an Emergency Plan.
